Artist Profile: Adam Hill
I deal with trying to show the natural landscapes of our homes. These areas are quite often overlooked by all of us and it's nice to just slow down and take heed of what's around us. I try to use my photography as reminder of what makes Cape Breton so unique to the world. I used my love for the outdoors to persue this hobby. Photography became another excuse for me to lose myself in nature. Soon this act turned into a passion for photography, which I've welcomed into my life.
Persuing new photographs have made me explore new areas to look for new views and to see what's around the corner. I've found myself in many situations looking for new angles and waiting for better light and, sometimes, I've taken risks that I shouldn't have. But all these experiences have allowed me to see my greatests views, some near and some far, and I consider myself a lucky man.
