Artist Profile: Anya Holloway
Anya Holloway lived in Ontario before moving to the Maritimes to paint. She has been involved in art for most of her life, studying art and architecture throughout her high school years, and upon graduating earned her degree in Graphic Arts. She continued her personal artistic growth by taking courses in the Fine Arts. Her watercolours, black and white photographs and pen and ink sketches have appeared at various art shows throughout Ontario and the Maritimes. She has continued to paint, not only in watercolours, but has broadened her scope through the use of acrylics, oils and mixed medium. In the summer of 2008, she opened the doors to her studio/gallery in Mahone Bay. Her work is held in private collections in Canada, the United States, Europe and Australia.
